A crawler camera is a remotely controlled, wheeled robotic device used to inspect the interior of large pipes, typically sewers, drainage systems or water mains, by “crawling” through them on wheels, providing a visual inspection with a mounted camera and strong light source, allowing operators to assess the pipe’s condition from a distance and navigate its interior with pan and tilt functionality. All data is recorded onto a hard drive system and a detailed data report is supplied for clients.
